Writing can be quite an isolating experience. And since I am, er, somewhat indecisive (totes Libra here!), I can really use all the help I can get…hopefully yours:)

3 things to keep in mind when voting

The best title should be:
1. Intriguing to Kids: a 3-7 year old; Top of their bedtime story request.
2. Memorable: Easy to recall, recommend to others.
3. Representative of the story and fits with the series:The BEAR Who DARED, UnFROGettable Friends.

What happens next?

The results from this poll will be combined with a talented group of public school 2nd Graders from Ward Central Elementary in the Cabot Public School system (shoutout to my home state of Arkansas and one of my favorite teachers, Mrs. Kim Ahart Thompson!) Once the votes are tallied, I’ll announce here in my newsletter (you’ll be the first to know).

Results coming soon. Thank you!!!

5 Things: Re-Entry from Europe-to-USA

  1. Ginormous stores! Instead of Hyde Park, we are getting our steps from traipsing across Walmart or Home Depot.

  2. Peanut Butter (Jon Gary Steele), Iced Tea (me). Iced tea is non-existent, and I can hear our UK friends saying, “That’s because tea is made to be hot!” This Southern boy begs to differ.

  3. Food Additives that will…um, well, make you very unhealthy; allowed by the FDA but illegal abroad.

  4. Great Mexican Food: we love Indian Food but boy, have we missed great Mexican food…in the USA!

  5. Gigantic selections! 20 variants of cough syrup (cherry-grape sugar-free…are you kidding?), a potato chip aisle that never ends, and 16,000 kinds of yogurt.
