Something Magical Happened
#1 on Amazon + February (and free shipping) is here: Bring on the Love!

A Wild Start!
Hello friends!
The first pages of 2025 have been quite a wild story, haven't they? From snow blanketing us in New York to wildfires illuminating the Los Angeles skies near our home, Mother Nature seems to be writing her own dramatic tales. But as Valentine's Day approaches, I'm reminded of what makes any story worth telling: love, in all its wonderful forms.
In times of turmoil, stories are our compass, our shelter, our spark of hope. They remind us that after every storm comes sunshine, after every challenge comes triumph. And right now, with fresh stories brewing in my imagination and young minds eager to explore new worlds, I feel that familiar flutter of excitement returning. We have adventures to embark on together, dark dragons to slay, and most importantly, countless young hearts to inspire with the power of storytelling. Can you feel it too? That renaissance of artistry that tells us something wonderful is about to be bloom? Lets get to gardening! Speaking of gardening…
My New Book! | You typed, I listened. I’m super excited for you to be the very first to get a preview of my newest picture book, Messy McFarlen’s Tomato Garden! Remember the illustrators you voted on? Well the feedback included notes that got me thinking that Messy McFarlen should be younger — and voilà, the juices started to flow. Inspired by my love of the Peanuts character Pig-Pen, this story almost wrote itself. I can’t wait for you to meet Messy McFarlen and his magical tomato garden (and his nosy neighbor and her snitty kitty). There will be only 100 Special Editions, numbered and signed so pre-order yours now. PS: If you’re in Southern California March 21/22/23, save the dates and come pick it up in person! Its going to be a fun, very personal launch event! Note: Not the final cover - its coming soon! |
The BEAR and PIERRE le FLAIR hits #1 on Amazon!
Can I get an “ALLEZ!”
We did it! For a magical moment, The BEAR and PIERRE le FLAIR soared to Amazon's #1 spot and the 100 Limited Edition signed books are now completely SOLD OUT—milestones that still makes me smile.
But I need your help! Our little bear and his pastry-loving friend are longing to hear your voices! Your reviews aren't just comments - they're the heartbeat of the book's journey. 2 minutes! That’s all it takes. Whether it's simply plugging in a # of stars rating or typing a few words, each review helps the story find its way to more readers. (And between us, I'm not above a bit of bribery - dishes, laundry, begging...name your price! 😉)
Share your thoughts now—takes 2 mins!
1. Go to the book’s page on Amazon (or simply click here)
2. Click on the words that say “# ratings”. You’ll find it next to the stars.
3. Click on the button that says “Write a customer review” - its in the lefthand column.
4. Pick a number of stars. Write whatever you feel (it can even be 1-3 words).
Hit submit and voilà!
How 2-Person Agencies Handle 200+ Clients (With Their Sanity Intact)
Let's address the elephant in your Slack channels:
That polite “looks good” email? It carries the silent scream of:
“Who hired these clowns?”
Fact: Your clients aren't stupid.
You know they smell fake expertise from three screens away.
As a smart agency owner yourself, you refuse to pretend to be an industry expert for everything. Instead, you extract clients' actual genius.
But until now the processes for “genius-extraction” relied on a complex, time-consuming setup. And expensive employees.
With Pressmaster one white-labeled conversation link transforms their brain dump into weeks of authentic thought leadership that makes them say:
“Holy sh*t, this sounds more like me than I do.”
And with another click distribution sparking high engagement on all platforms is solved as well.
Without pulling all-nighters. Or burning out your team. Bold promise. We know.
Our Shenanigans![]() | The December holidays came and went so quickly I barely remember them! Now if I could only forget the weight I gained. We had our first White Christmas in decades, baked and decorated, ate a Xmas goose with friends, did a few book signings, did some caretaking with my mom, went to visit our friends Terry and Ron, built a snowbear (of course!), flew home to sweat out the raging fires which may just have been the scariest few days of our lives and, of course, celebrated with the Scots at Ross King’s always-fantastic Burns Night party with our favorite people. —Barry |
