Giving Thanks (for you!) November has been, well, too busy! California, Louisiana and New York means eating out way too much and we are soooo looking forward to getting into the kitchen for some baking and kitchen mess (IFYKYK). The BEAR and PIERRE le FLAIR in Blue’s Moon Mystery is now ‘real’ and for us authors, that’s the equivalent to giving birth (too dramatic? You do know me, right?) So now that we have a ‘baby,’ I’m hoping your help me share this book with the world and get it into some Stockings ‘hung by the chimney with care.’ Okay, my analogy is entering the weird zone lol so I’ll stop there and wish you the most tremendous Thanksgiving ever! Did you ever have a teacher that changed your life? I did. And I wasn’t the only one. My high school friend (and senior prom date!!!) went on to become one of those special teachers too. Meet Mrs. Kim Ahart Thompson, a teacher and specialist at Ward Central Elementary School in Cabot, Arkansas. The bright faces in the pic above helped me pick the title for The BEAR and PIERRE le FLAIR in Blue’s Moon Mystery. Mrs. Thompson is teaching them about how big and beautiful this world really is.
